Code Charge Studio Version 4.3.00.7676 Released Today
Created by CCSElite on 02/26/2010 11:48 AM

Today YesSoftware released a long awaited maintenance release of CodeCharge Studio 4.3.  The list of issues and bugs addressed in this released is long and appears to have dealt with many of the bugs we have been experiencing in CodeCharge Studio 4.3.00.54.

We are planning to install and try this latest version and sincerely hope this release makes CodeCharge Studio the fantastic tool it has been in the past.

We will continiue to post findings in the forums.

Please do the same if you install and try CodeCharge Studio Maintenance Release Ver. 4.3.00.7676.

CodeCharge Studio Version 4.3.00.54 Full of Bugs
Created by CCSElite on 02/09/2010 12:31 PM
What has happened to our favorite development tool?

Since using CodeCharge Studio Version 4.3.00.54, dozens of bugs have surfaced that significantly slow down development.  CodeCharge Studio Version 4.3.00.54 has been released for about four months and YesSoftware seems incapable of providing any support or fixes for these show stopping bugs.

If you have any bugs you would like to report, please visit our forum and post them and any work arounds you might have developed. (You Can Post Here) Maybe we can, as a community, get YesSoftware's attention and get some resolution to, at least, the serious problems that now plauge CodeCharge Studio.....

Should you replace CodeCharge Studio with another framework ??  You will have to decide.  There are choices.  We have evaluated Delphi for PHP and Visual Studio 2010.

We very much hate to say this but, we are now looking at becoming a MS Visual Studio 2010 shop, replacing CodeCharge Studio !!

A new forum topic has been created for these discussions called "Alternaves to CodeCharge Studio". Share your thoughts in the community's forums here.  We would love to hear from you.

Serious Bug Discovered in CCS PHP/SQL
Created by jjrjr1 on 01/17/2009 6:12 PM
The last couple of days have been interesting to say the least.  It seems a forum member at YesSoftware's forum inadvertently found a situation where SQL can be injected in PHP pages that can delete an entire database.  For details check this post: http://ccselite.com/forums_topics_view.php?forum_id=2&forum_topic_id=41
New Forums Features
Created by admin on 11/30/2008 3:47 AM

We've added some new features to make the forums easier to use and more informative.

First, we added a "Status" field. This allows us to set posts to Open, Resolved, Tip, etc.

Second, we gave the creator of a topic the ability to edit their original post and set the status themselves. You do this by clicking the EDIT button under your original message. Use this to change your topic to "Resolved" is someone answers you question. If you feel the thread could help others set it to "Tip".

These features are in addition to the ability to subscribe and unsubscribe to topics and forums.

Let us know what you think.
